Technically, the filibuster didn't fail. That was some interesting political theater last night after the Davis got her third strike on the filibuster. They kept doing breaking news last night covering the gallery's reaction and how much a f**k the entire precedings became. Lot's of ham-fisted gamemanship from both parties last night. Was kind of enjoyable.

Ultimately, Davis did succeed though.

This is shameful. These people are supposed to represent their constituents. If they accurately do, and vote accordingly, then abortion should be banned accordingly. Trying to filibusterer it with this childish behavior makes democrats look like whiny schoolchildren who are mad because they didn't get their way.
