They've criminalized political protest on behalf of B of A. And they're doing it to someone that can't fight back except with his chalk.
Well, how much more Orwellian does it have to be until it's Orwellian?

Right.....
This begins to sound quite juicy. Just how bad did he piss off B of a?
And how much pull do they have if they can get 13 charges at 1 yr/ $1k a pop?
Even the cops would likely not try that on their own. They're familiar with charges that won't stick.

I wonder if the reason they don't want the 1st mentioned is because it's punishment that far exceeds the crime. Which isn't really a crime at all.
I don't want to be in a court that disallows constitutional reference, when all law is in some way a reference to the constitution.

The whole thing is idiocy. The people prosecuting him are claiming their hands are tied because what he did was graffiti and the first amendment doesn't apply to graffiti.
But he used chalk, not spray paint. Water soluble chalk.

They're (B of A) also saying it cost them $6k to get off some of the chalk. How the phuck is that even possible? Do they think they are the government or something? $6k for water soluble chalk removal sounds like they're padding the costs to an absurd level.
That sounds felonious.
