mcdonalds employees on average make above minimum wage. so i guess that's what they deserve to be paid, since if they were making minimum wage i'd say they are likely overpaid.
so what if they can't afford to live off of that on their own? get some roomates, live in a shitty place, and then get a better job. mcdonalds has high turnover. they've got lots of kids working there. whatever.

Minimum wage obviously isn't all that practical to support a household on. The question is should it be? And yeah, lol at the 2nd income line. I can only hope they were referring to the McD employee's significant other who obviously also apparently works at a minimum wage job.

Frankly, I think it's fortunate someone is even willing to pay them that much. Most of the workers at mcdonalds are beyond unskilled. Id rather just give them a meager amount of welfare and not waste their time, a robot could almost certainly do their job better anyway.

Well, why not pay them welfare and make them, say, pick up trash? Or work for minimum wage building things for Comrade Obama?
