One thing about today's technology, it makes points of view other then ours available. That is, if you're willing to let your news come to you without going through the flag strainer.

Oh totally agreed and I look at them too.
It was amazing watching the world's reaction to the default hostage situation. Inside the U.S., you have the same old 50/50 false equivalency where they'd show the Dem guy and then the TP moron and then just leave it at that.
Whereas the outside-the-U.S. reaction was universally: those people are f***ing crazy and b) look at what you've become.
But it's pretty sad that in the U.S. you have to watch a comedy show to get actual fact-checking.

That's probably why it's found on a comedy show, because news today is comedy, not news.

CNBC is owned by NBCUniversal Group which is owned by GE and Comcast which are 85% owned by Wallstreet Institutions.
