Why is it that plutocratic bag boys like Boehner always try and couch their arguments in their alleged concern for "small businesses"?

Yet again, we see the tide of progress being resisted at every turn by GOP leaders afraid of being "primaried" by tea party lunatics.

But that's the thing Dude: they won't get voted out--they've gerrymandered this districts so all they have to do is appeal to the crazies and they'll get re-elected. While they may be against the overwhelming majority in the U.S., back home they're heroes. This could go on for a long, long time.

BTW how was that kind of gerrymandering even legal?

For a lot of these GOPers, their constituents do not agree with their stance here. If it went by district, I bet 350+ would vote for ENDA.

These guys simply don't want to give Obama any success, even if they agree with it. Look how hard it was for them to extend the VAWA. These people have no desire to govern at all.


This year alone they've gone against homosexuals, immigrants, women, and minorities in general. All of this after their "autopsy" showed they need to find ways to bring these very groups into their camp. They're more and more becoming the party of the older white rural male.

Well, I probably should have put an additional clarifier in there: bigoted.

And Utah just keeps sucking.
