Just goes to show you that the majority of voters are in fact, idiots. Why else would Dubya and Obama have been elected?

Alot of the left is unwilling to admit that blacks as a group are more homophobic than whites and that blacks often vote on 'racist' grounds, they vote for a candidate because of the color of his skin. I think his tactic was fair, these people are getting the government they deserve.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

I'd say that he was voted into office by the color of his character, flawed as it might be, and not by the color of his skin.

Can we all not agree that pretty much every segment of society has its fair share of homophobia? Really, I can't think of a standout group in that respect. White, black, Latino, Muslim, Christian...

Yet from a legislative standpoint the clear victor is of course right wing Christians.
