"Age of majority" is a qualitative, not quantitative, value.
Society needs to update and realize that different people mature at different rates.
The idea of hanging this guy is especially heinous and elitist. It shows how awkward society is from acknowledging not only this truth, but how the highest forms of fraternity are intimate.
It's disappointing how society gets so chalked up as if this is a religious issue.
What society should be chalked up about is predatorily interviewing a 79 year old as if it's OK to pressure someone that old to spill the beans.

Hanging is not Elitist. Hanging is for the common low-life. Beheading is for the Elite and Aristocratic.
I'm all for following Church tradition and burning this dinkus at the stake. And no bag of gun powder around his neck as an act of humanity. Just let him burn slowly. In fact, build that pyre with green wood.
