Bill Maher talked about this last night.
Honestly this is why voters don't vote. Everyone knows the guy is full of shit, yet he's gonna still win, so what's the point?
Americans are like the battered woman who keeps getting abused yet keeps going back to her shit ex boyfriend. At some point, you get what you deserve.

I would say that the people who are actually going to vote for this clown again yes, get what they deserve.
Because this failure of ideology couldn't be laid any more bare--it's right in front of their faces. It doesn't work.
Those that do vote for him? I think it demonstrates another reality--not exactly news to many here--that really people aren't voting for results or their own interests, they've hijacked the voting process to fight a war (some subliminally, some more transparent) against an imagined enemy or concept, like "socialism."

Lolwut. I get the money argument but now you claim the systems been "hijacked" because of...people voting for the wrong guy for the wrong reason.
That's simply an undesired result. It's not indicative of a system being hijacked.

Last week, the numbers were released and they were even worse for Brownback than that article states. His "experiment" has been a colossal failure as anyone with any understanding of how the real world works would know.
He actually has a decent chance of losing the election, though I wouldn't personally predict it. But that says something in one of the deepest red states in the country. Would be pretty crazy is he lost and Orman won (essentially a democrat) there.

nothing will change until people hurt enough to change.
