This is your evidence that they're not a "do-nothing party"?

I wasn't that I disagreed with those things that I'm ignoring bills they sent in the past.

It's more their six-year history of blatant obstructionism, their stated goal from the outset to make Obama a one-term president, and the overall prevailing attitude supported by their drooling followers that it's better for the country to fail if somebody like Obama is president.

So they sent some bills. Where is their plan for the f***ing economy? That isn't simply roll back even more taxes for the 10%? Where is their plan for infrastructure? For ending the war on drugs? For reducing poverty? For getting us out of Afghanistan? For immigration, for instance? Where Boehner made it clear Obama is not to do something alone but instead do nothing jointly with him and Congress?

The more you defend these guys the more it's going to continue. We need something more coherent than Brownbacking the entire country.

Well, to be fair, to leave the arena of "do nothing" you simply need to "do anything". So yes, anything they do means they don't do "nothing".

That's why I don't like that term. Because it assumes doing bad things are just dandy as long as you don't do nothing.

Indy, your position is dangerous and harmful because most of the things you mentioned are things that neither party has a substantive and sufficient plan for. But by heaping all the blame on the GOP, it creates the illusion that we could end the war on drugs or would be truly addressing inequality if they didn't control congress. That's false.

Yeah, the GOP wasted money on Benghazi. And the Dems wasted money investigating the NFL, MLB, and countless other things that they have no business in.

And, I hope I'm not coming off as "supporting" the GOP. Both parties do it, and it's wrong. But, we would also be wrong to only arrest one bank robber when there were 2 guys stealing cash.
