Someone on the Cleveland PD was supposed to check the background, they did not. Whoever it was dropped the ball and should be fired ASAP. Its no different then a crappy truck driver being fired by one company, then hired by another.

This one is even more egregious than the other two because they basically rolled up and shot the kid upon exiting the vehicle and he didn't even have the toy gun in his hand.

It was literally shoot first, ask questions later.

My question is why was that kid in the park with a fake gun in the first place? If there is anything good at all that will come from this, it might be a lesson for his buddies not to do that. But that still don't excuse the quick draw cops either.

Hmm, yes, why is a kid in a park with a toy gun? A question for the ages.

I'm sure its not the first time a toy gun was in a park. However, when they look real and are pointed at people, who knows the outcome? Especially today when its real easy to spook the herd.
