didn't it hit 60:1 like a day ago? god damn russia sucks.

I know capital flight is a result of these sanctions, but I'm curious to know how much it has wrecked havoc in comparison to plunging oil prices.

Either way, I see two likely scenarios happening.

A. Like a cornered rat, Putin bares his fangs and bad stuff kicks off, like a armed conflict between two nuclear powers.
Or
B. The folks in Russia get tired off hardship, and cast Putin out.
Or
C. China, India, and Russia combine their efforts to counter the West and OPECs shot across the bow. I honestly don't know how or if that would work.

Huh? China and India have no issues with the US in this regard. Despite the cyber attacks and occasionally saber rattling, all 3 countries want to continue to trade and prosper. On top of that, although it's possible, I don't think the situation is "the West and OPEC vs Russia". I think OPEC took unilateral action and doesn't give two shits how it affects Russia.

What's scary about Russia is that, I think, we have no idea how Russia is going to react to this or further economic turmoil. Putin may use it as justification for very drastic action, or perhaps he could be assassinated if things get bad enough and won't step down.

Too bad. Russians deserve a chance at normality. Hopefully one day they'll figure shit out.
