this pretty much just ruined the the protest movement. this is going to dominate the conversation now and it's going to be justification for every abuse of power the police already enjoy.

There are many reasons why you look like a retard if you are celebrating this. #1, two innocent people lost their lives. #2, this asshole just gave the police state an excuse.

This could be unrelated to the shootings and protests, who knows. Two cops were shot by me yesterday after an armed robbery that ended with both officers shot. Its amazing that we have so much violence in this country.

Really sad to see how far the situation has degenerated. It's going to take a LOT of work to restore the relationship between the police and the public, and with this latest tragedy I doubt that work will be done.
