It looks like it is in the billions. There was a company that paid 3.3$ billion from the article.

Keeping it short...
Without government money and IP the environment that creates "sick care" could not exist.
In a better world the pharma titans would be the victors in the "health care" industry for producing the cheapest and most effective remedies, not the best parliamentary wizards or who has the best law firms.
...then there is the evidence that almost all is lost.
Lets find the cure, not the cause...

Big pharma is just one of the governments dildos. And without the opium poppy and cocaine plant, big pharma probably wouldn't be what it is.

Pharmaceutical companies are some of the most profitable in the world. Let their profits come down a bit, and then we can talk about grants.
