That is incredibly excessive. I dearly hope that these parents aren't sacked with neglect charges. The children look healthy and well cared for, so what is the issue?

Letting them walk home is not teaching them skills ever? The article doesn't once say that they are parents that don't do anything for their children. Have they asked whether or not the children feel neglected? I walked home at a young age, I just fail to see a problem.

Hold on a second. I never said that I don't think people should actually parent their children. Far from it. While I can concede that these children are a bit young for this sort of responsibility, if they are ready for it then okay. I appreciate your hope for my future
