if turkey gets much worse with erdogen you're going to see the rise of another young turks movement lead by the military.if ANY kind of civil war breaks out over that, which isn't that unlikely given the radicalization of eastern turkey, you'll see the PKK make moves towards separating.

Smithsonian magazine had a great article about Gallipoli. Part of it was about the co-opting of the battle by Turkish Islamists turning it from a Turkish victory to an Islamic victory.

well, in any kind of situation where the PKK declares independence, turkey won't be in a position for genocide and mass deportation. they might just have to accept. something to consider as well is that armenia has land claims in turkey, and armenia is very close to russia. with turkey being a NATO member it wouldn't surprise me if the russians supplied heavy weaponry to the kurds in the case of an armed uprising.

LOL turkey is not losing a f**k inch of land to the Kurds. Hilarious you guys genuinely think they wouldn't go to war and then deport people en mass to keep the kurdish regions from breaking away. They would do it without blinking and no one would do a god damn thing to stop it.
