This could have been a worthwhile post about whether showing graphic violence is ever (un)necessary, but you decided to make it a shit post about Fox News instead. We, as a forum, progressed past this shit (except Indy) 4+ years ago.

I have to agree with Darkhorse here. The petty little pet names and attacking the source take away from any real discussion. Fox is terrible. We get it. People have been beating that dead horse for over a decade. Let it die already.

It's an interesting question and not as clear cut as it would seem. It's more an issue of philosophical differences and view on human nature.

On one hand, you can see how FOX thanks that showing these images will make clear to people how brutal these animals are, and inspire more resolve to fight them. On the other, you can clearly understand the point about the images attracting psychopaths to the cause.

I actually agree with Fox here though. I think Any psychopath that enjoys this stuff will find it anyway. It's not hard on the internet and it's impossible to censor this stuff. But your average joe the plumber, who comes home from work and watches 5 minutes of news, probably isn't going to realize the full and sick scale of what these barbarians are doing unless fox news serves it up to him on a plate.
