Big Oil will buy the patents. The professors will get big $ and buy a new car that will still run on oil/fuel. And in the end my Exxon stock will still get its 9% raise in value. And all will be the same. Unfortunately.

My prediction is eventually the internal combustion engine will become a museum piece, replaced by electric. Like ic replaced steam and steam replaced the horse.
