Young people between the ages of 18 and 24 are disappearing from the economy. Some are actively involved in criminal activities like selling drugs but many more are not. They are "adrift". Some spend large amounts of time playing video games and medicating their depression with drugs and alcohol. That's really bad.

I think its also a bit of role reversing. Some women are making very good money and some men dont work as much. My fiancée (just recently engaged) is in law school and if she makes big bucks one day then I'm down with doing alot of nothing and retiring at a young age.
