What I find fascinating is that Brian Williams' career is over because of his war stories--O'Reilly is not only openly defiant but his audience doesn't care. This has been true of FOX viewers/on-air talent for years. Even when it's proven that they're lying or misleading, the audience still doesn't care.

He said this was a term for people who, for instance, were put in front of a miracle-worker type (think: preacher) who would then perform his "miracle."
