If you're over 30 years old and you haven't absorbed everything you possibly could about world politics and history, you have no business running for president. You should be a prodigy and a master of world politics just to even be in the running. What do you think?

Bush was a masterful face of an enterprise of highly political neocons. People have trouble looking back and seeing why he was ever viable. He was damn likeable as a person. It's easier to dislike him after his policies all turned out to be disastrous but at the time the economy was good and that's when being likeable is enough.

Jeb Bush is just another political huckster. What separates this sh*tbag from the other sh*tbags is his pedigree.

I know there is a wealthy faction of his father's buddies who are rooting like hell for him to get in so they can continue to fleece the American taxpayer, the same way they did when Dubya was in power. Want another economic collapse, a la 2008? Then elect this a$$hole. It will be all but guaranteed.

On a slightly related note, I think it is past time that we come to the agreement that the charter school movement is not the solution to public education. Stories like this link are a dime-a-dozen, and all have a common theme: wealthy supporters, backroom deals, and outright corruption.
