While it’s difficult to pin down precise figures, the Washington Examiner reports they have “spent tens of millions in tax dollars to vacation, and they still have two more years to go.”

Judicial Watch has compiled a list of vacations, fundraisers and other presidential trips and their accompanying expenses. A rough tally of this incomplete list comes to a minimum of $33,441,728.23.

Given the power that the President wields relative to his global peers, his entourage that has to go everywhere that he does, and the generally inordinate level of disdain directed his way I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

Our President is shorting us $33 Million for vacations while Putin is basically aggregating and utilizing the country's wealth at his leisure (In the range of $1 Trillion). Likewise, Chinese officials allow for no electoral input and grossly misallocate funds on a daily basis. If you are against vacations...well I wouldn't go and check out the numbers the Chinese are using in government investment (potentially inefficient - probability is high here and we're talking hundreds of billions of dollars). Outside of this you have the opportunity cost of Europe being f**k by leadership hobbled by their own short shortsightedness. I choose Obama.

In short my man: Meh.
