Would be nice if Zimbabwe would make all legal big game hunts spear only. Get a lot more of this kind of event and my respect for Africa's big game hunters would go from zero to pretty up there.

It was a legal hunt, but that doesn't really say much about the ethics of hunting creatures who are self-aware, highly intelligent, and also slowly being eradicated... All to make piano keys or increase some Chinese guys fertility.

might have been an old bull elephant that was running off younger males and messing up breeding. this happens time to time and so they sell hunting permits for insane amounts of money to finance their reserves.
