I would of shot him too, you don't approach a cop after trying to get away from him. His actions are perceived as dangerous because it only takes a second to remove his hands from his head and attack the cop.

I would suggest fcstar and this cop are not qualified to be police officers.
What about this situation made the officer think he couldn't make an arrest without killing the suspect? Why was he in fear for his life? Does this police department not carry non lethal options? Has this officer never grappled with a suspect or is it SOP to shoot unarmed suspects IF they make you go through the trouble of a high speed pursuit?
A+ policing, would fund it again.

I support the police's action in this case. The police does not have backup yet, and the suspect was within melee distance. There's no point in the police engaging in a melee conflict with the suspect because if the police loses, he would have put others in more danger.

Where did he shoot him? Seems pretty callous if he blew a hole in his chest form 5 feet away because the guy was f**k up and wandering around. But if he popped the guy in the leg after he rushed him off camera, well there you go.

they're trained to shoot center mass which makes sense IMO.
whether he should have shot is open to debate. i think no. taser.
