Can you really call a conspiracy theory blog post from years ago an "update"? And why should I care if he's a closeted homosexual anyway? Not sure I understand the significance or purpose of posting this tinfoil source.

I actually just went back and watched the video from CSPAN. That's it? That's nothing. People call into CSPAN and say weird shit all the time. This is the kind of bullshit speculative story that shows the woeful state of today's media and their inability to report actual news.

So far Hastert is in trouble for lying to the Feds, everything else is speculation at this point.

Well as you all know by now it turned out that what we all thought was probably the issue was indeed the issue.

Even for a sex scandal this one is like Penn State-type gross.

So basically what we've had now is a sexual predator as the Speaker of the House, who more than likely helped cover-up Mark Foley's little predatory scandal because of Hastert's past history--and a man that has lived his adult life as a closeted homosexual, to boot. While a key leadership figure for a party that has little to no tolerance for homosexuals publicly and these days makes a habit of blaming them for everything from the Texas floods to Hurricane Sandy to 9/11.

Yikes. I think the details--more formidable than some blogger--should come tumbling out about his secret life since then, because they always do.

i don't think it's the same as penn state. more like, monica lewinsky (well not as an extreme difference in power as an intern and the POTUS but that's what it would be, because the student could be of age to consent, but, it's like not real consent because of the difference in power) + it's totally gay. sandusky was raping little kids, from what i read hastert was f**k teenage boys, which is not the same. still wrong, no doubt still wrong, but not the same
