Shouldn't be banned, but nobody should exercise the right to display it IMO.
It's a toxic symbol that reminds us of America's darkest days (slavery and a union divided). No bueno.

It would have been better if the US had split up. By this point the slaves would have had their own nation, and they'd have rid their country of Southerners. I realize that it would be awful for slavery to continue awhile longer, but isn't it worth the price of modern America being functional instead of constantly having to appeal to the lowest common denominator?
