Is it a good thing that gay marriages became legalized? It think it isn't. Liberals impose their opinion to the rest of society while almost half of Americans don't agree with it. The old system worked perfectly well, homosexuals had a right to organize civil unions which had the same rights as marriage. We must preserve at least some traditions and marriage is one of the foundations of our society which has to be kept intact.

More than half of Americans did support gay marriage. And there's that whole constitution thing. Nothing is being forced on you though. Feel free to not get gay married. I don't plan to marry a guy.

Your support of gay marriage, or opposition is irrelevant. The supreme court has ruled that preventing gays from marrying one another is unconstitutional. End of story.

I think the early era gay marriages will have a much higher success rate than heterosexual marriages do on average, because you have people who have already been with their lifelong partner for years just waiting to get married. Over time, you'll have just as many same sex couple rushing into bad idea marriages and it will even out.
