I never once stated that these negtiations would never once result in a deal.
I did have to point out to you that the treaty hadn't been signed at the time.

What in specific do you dislike about this deal, and why do you think that specific thing is short-sighted?

As long as there's verification that Iran isn't building nukes, there's nothing too bitch about. Because the alternative would be a nuclear armed Iran, a middle east arms race, and possibly war.
All three scenarios would be bad.
As for being short sighted, that would be the pivot towards Iran, which isn't realistic or even practical.
