Why Is The KKK Currently Legal?

I understand that in the US we are guaranteed the freedom to assemble. That means that groups of us can get together to drink coffee, watch football, and yes - even discuss hateful things. But! When this group murders people just because of the color of their skin? It's also freedom, right?! I expect that, within a decade or two, the US government will be officially banning such groups.

Is the KKK actually racking up bodies anymore? I know they used to but they just have douchebag rallies now it would seem.

last KKK murder I heard about was in North Louisiana a few years back and involved a white woman and her husband, who were members of the Klan and some other Klan guys....because meth.

if you were to condemn them based on their associations you wouldn't have freedom to associate. specific klansmen have murdered people, not all klansmen. that, and philly is right, they are now just into douchebag rallies
