The Occupy movement, out of steam?

Anyway, I'm sure we all remember the whole hoo-har in 2011 with OWS and its various spin offs. However, as the winter of 2011 came around it became pretty clear that the kryptonite of the activist tent city was the months Nov-Feb (the last high profile camps at . Though OWS is certainly still going to some extent, it appears the movement as a whole never really recovered in 2012 (any resurgence on may 1st certainly fizzled out quickly and the last bastion in Hong Kong was shut down a week ago (notice how it doesn't get that cold in hong kong). Certainly the Occupy movement worldwide did not recover from the winter of 2011-12.
So I ask the forum:
1) Was its high water mark in late autumn 2011?
2) What if anything did it achieve?
3) Is it likely to come back?
4) Was the lack of any coherent plan or goals what brought it down?

There's no leadership, no direction, no plan, no platform so yeah: I'd say it was a one-hit wonder.

if they had actually occupied wall street they might have accomplished something. instead they were just living like hippies in parks, not sure what that's going to do aside from looking teh ghey.

What they should be "occupying" is the offices of all their elected representatives who have been bought off by Wall St., and throwing them out.

They were a joke, like I said from the beginning. All they did was point out problems (and they didn't even define them that well). They lacked direction. If you want to solve a problem, you must first define it. Then, there are only 2 ways to solve that problem:
1) Work within the system to change the system, or
2) Get your guns and overthrow the system.
They didn't seem to want to work within the system, and they weren't armed. So, they were ineffective and changed nothing.
