Should The U.S Constitution Be Re-Written And Updated?

Postby SmithSmith » Thu Aug 06, 2015 4:44 am

The Supreme court can't do it on their own forever. I believe the Constitution should be updated. The amendment system can go a long way, but a Constitutional Convention would be much more long term. What is your point? Do you think that the Constitution is fine how it is? Do you think that it's best the Constitution remain the same, and be perceived exactly as it is written?

No. They do need to start following it again though. A plan that lead to the most powerful country in the modern world. Well at one time it was, and with the right leadership could be again. **==

Since we've shown that we aren't going to follow what the constitution says, what's the point?
Look at the tortured interpretations of the commerce clause, free speech cages, and warrantless searches. Make whatever rules you want, obviously the government isn't going to follow them anyway.

You reap what you sow. A freedom that was never had, will never be missed. Just in my lifetime, a lot of freedoms are out the window.
