Washington (AFP) - A decade of anger over the Iraq war resurfaced in the 2016 US election race on Tuesday, with Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton's campaigns trading blame about that country's continued instability.
Twelve years after president George W. Bush led the United States into an unpopular and troubled conflict, his brother, now a Republican presidential hopeful, accused Democrats of abandoning Iraq before the job was done.
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/note-bus ... d=33009515ISIS never existed before the illegal invasion of Iraq. ISIS came to power as an offshoot of Al Qaeda after seeing what how the US was destroying their country. Had it not been for the Bush/Cheney war machine there would be no ISIS and we wouldn't have lost 6 trillion as well as over 4000 dead US soldiers.

What's this have to do with Jeb Bush?
Clinton voted for the damn war.

Cough......One's a stupid political talking point, the other is a actual vote to allow America embark on a debacle that will
Have reoccurring consequences for generations to come.
The best thing Clinton can do is pretend Iraq never happened.

Well when it comes to pretending things never happened, Jeb and all the other neoclowns have certainly rewritten history to come to the conclusion that the massive, epic and disastrous failure in Iraq never happened because, oh, if only we had been left there to finish the job ("stay the course") why, Iraq would be the America of the middle east right now.
Have you not watched Cheney & Co. give interviews for the past couple of years?
Clinton may have voted for the war, but she certainly didn't put a staggering incompetent in charge of it in every position, including the bumbling Paul Bremer, who decided that disbanding the Baath party and firing the entire army was somehow a good idea.
And guess what that led to? Yup, exactly what we have now. Not sure what Hillary Clinton had to do with that. Or why Jeb's argument amounts to "Well yew voted for Iraq too so it's your fault!" Pfft.
Even better: what is Jeb's plan now? That we go back? FFS these people are lunatics.

We never should of pulled out all of our troops and we should of had an established base, spec ops and other resources inside Iraq. Obama horribly made that decision.
ISIS would of happened regardless because Syria has turned into such a god awful place.
