I would like to ask you, dear friends, what do you think about the escalation of the refugee situation, your opinion about actions taken by the governments of the states that directly affected by the problem.
Unfortunately, I think this is one of the cases where the UN and the US are reaping "the benefits" of their creations. Only question is why innocent people are suffering?

i don't know why europe doesn't set up refugee camps on the southern mediterannean and then once the wars are over, ship them back via ferry. it just doesn't seem like it should be such a big crisis.

They should ship them back. The only thing luring desperate people to throw their lot in with smugglers is the promise that if they make it to the EU they can stay. Ship them all back, let them file an asylum petition in turkey or lebanon or jordan and those accepted can come in an orderly fashion. It would keep people from jumping into unventilated trucks and non-seaworthy boats. Europe has no leadership and no plan, again. It's becoming apparent German "leadership" is oxymoronic and as sad as it is to say, the continent was better off with the French at the helm. Germany has overseen the demise of the single currency and now will oversee the demise of the single market. When the fascists win in France and the British leave the EU, know it was sloppy German policy that led to this outcome.

The New York Times, ever the fool, even had an article about how Australia intercepts and turns around every boat intended for the country. People can apply through the legal channels. You know where there isn't a migration crisis? Australia. You know where people aren't dying trying to reach? Australia.

Give all the able body refugees (men&women) guns & ammo and tell them to go back and shoot the sons a bitches that took their towns, or die trying. Or, just be a victim all your life.
