Those Mexicans are really crazy. Spending so much time, efforts and money to dig a freaking tunnel to the US. It seems like weed smuggling business is very profitable indeed. Mexican drug lords probably get more money than Mexican government and they are the real power in the country. Maybe we should finally legalize pot in America? Cause I don't see any point of keeping it banned apart from feeding druglords with free money.

Weed isn't that profitable for them anymore...Mexican Weed has never been as good as the stuff I can get out here in the Bay Area. On top of that, "mexicans" aren't the ones making these tunnels. Drug lords are. They have such an absurd amount of money that they can actually contract out the work to professionals from Western Industrialized states...those tunnels aren't very remedial. Especially a tunnel of that length.

This isn't surprising. I know that they even use old tunnels under the Rio Grande in El Paso.

Arent' they smuggling HEROIN across the southern border?

We can grow better weed then Mexico anyway, so why bother with the weed part? Its like smuggling sand into a desert or water into the ocean..
