he's going to do terrible. he isn't up in any state going forward and there are hundreds of delegates at stake so his gap is only going to widen.

Why do you want him to drop out though?
The longer he stays in, the more Clinton is going to have to act like a progressive, and maybe at some point in the future those words can be used against her.
"Party unity" seems to be about the only reason I can think of in re: why he should drop out.

because clinton is going into this with enough baggage and i don't want someone from her own party harming her chances.

oh also because sanders misunderstanding of democratic socialism and his "white people can't be poor" thing have soured me to his cause.
