So, North Korea sentenced a kid to 15 years hard labor for trying to steal a propaganda sign. Yeah, it's harsh. Yeah, it's way overboard. Yeah, it's condemned by the world at large. Yeah, it's a tragedy.
But, North Korea is a dick. We all know that. Anyone who goes there HAS know that they could be accused of a crime for any reason, true or false. Why do we (society, families of those people, etc.) act surprised or think it's anything other than business-as-usual?
