The entire GOP has given up on the presidential race. They know the convention and ensuing fall out is going to cost them the whitehouse either way, but if trump isn't their nominee they can at least protect their congressional majorities and live to fight another day.

Its time for the whole delegate and EC process needs to be relegated to the political history museum. The peoples vote should pick who runs, who is elected. That system was created because of the lack of voter accountability. Today, we have that accountability and the election process should reflect that. Its a wonder they still don't have sails on aircraft carriers.
