Worst mass shooting in US history, until the next one. 50 deaths as of now.

Evidentially, they interviewed the father of the perp and he was supposedly upset about seeing guys kissing recently, but he has shown up on the periphery of some terror watch groups. Possibility of some domestic radicalization at play, but not enough info to confirm.

Was actually about to post this. Didn't even hear about it until a few minutes ago. 50 people dead, hard to believe that could happen. The police are still searching for explosives in the area too, never know what else the shooter left behind.

On a more local perspective, I'm pretty impressed with the measured response by one Lt. Govenor Dan Patrick. He's such a pos.

Really wish the media would stop blasting the words "deadliest shooting in U.S. history" all over the place. It's not necessary to rank and quantify mass shootings like sports.

When people say "mass shooting" they think of crazy for shooting up a post office or whatever. They don't think of the Paris nightclub attacks, or the Anders brevik attacks. This, like those, was a terror attack, a muslim shooting up a gay bar
