This is a fantastic way to improve economic efficiency and streamline day to day operations within Iran while complementing their efforts to benefit from global trade.

China was able to do it (with help from the private sector) so it seems the Persians are taking after them.

This is more a strong potential to actually seal off the Iranian people from the internet. China hasn't actually done anything like that yet. They play more in monitoring and censorship.

You know, a lot of third world countries would probably benefit from this. They're sick and tired of enduring cultural imperialism from American Exceptionalism.
They don't cut themselves off from the internet too because they enjoy exploiting American arrogance for selling itself into debt. Once America's economy collapses, they'll laugh hysterically at how stupid Americans were.
Heck, they laugh hysterically already at American stupidity. They might even keep the internet up in order to exploit America back.
