the Iran deal was not made by the senate as all treaties must be, but rather through executive hubris. the wonderful thing about all of this is that obama's flouting of rules and doing whatever the f**k he wanted on shit will be the undoing of his legacy. there's a beauty in that.

Obama used the executive powers because Congress stone-walled him.

Not an issue now though, because Trump technically has legislative support. Let's see how generous he is sharing the burden of power with quislings such as Ryan.

I have a feeling Republicans will be changing Senate rules to keep the Dems from filibustering.

Just need a simple majority to pass a bill, and Dems can't filibuster everything. Compare with the the House that could simply vote "no" every time.
