I didn’t vote for Clinton and I would not vote for Trump. I have not left the Democratic Party; the Democratic Party has departed from their populist agenda and left us.

There’s little I would or could attempt to add to this David Kuhn opinion published by the NY Times.

Well actually it was "Privileged" Liberal bigotry and their contempt for working class America that cost the democrats the race and elected Trump.

Horseshit. Obama and the democrats saved the rust belt after 2008 and the republicans crowed about how we should have let the auto industry et al collapse.

Then they vote overwhelmingly for the party that 6 years ago wanted them in bread lines.

It's also quite common for "elitist" Eastern Liberals to be unable to self reflect on their faults... total disdain and condescending attitude for rural/working America (Bernie excepted).

A large chunk of the problem was Clinton. Unsurprisingly, the only people here who admit to liking her are liberals from NY. Also unsurprising is their total inability to comprehend why they lost.

I thought stupid people elected him, bigots are merely a small gathering under that big tent.
