Assange and WikiLeaks believe that privacy shouldn't and doesn't exist. They are basically completely opposed to Snowden's view, that privacy is of utmost importance. Manning, in his capacity in the army, traitorously copied classified documents and gave them to WikiLeaks.

Personal privacy is the complete opposite of government transparency.

You guys think Snowden received asylum because of Russia's longstanding and steadfast commitment to journalistic ethics and integrity? He's literally a traitor to America, and I say that as somebody who hates hyperbolic use of the word.
