Well, if THIS doesn't smack as DIRTY POLITICS, I don't what does anymore.
And THIS is why I f**k HATE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.
I'm am NOT pro-democrat, but I AM anti-Republican.
f**k scumbags. ALL of them.
I called Senator Alexander's office last week and asked him to do America a favor and resign. That man is LUCKY I wasn't at the hearing a few weeks ago. I would have burned that f**k room to the ground. NOT ONE of the Dems pointed out the obvious, when Alexander kept going back to Obama's "precedent" of having only one hearing for his Secretary of Ed nominations (Duncan and King). And that was, "PERHAPS IT'S BECAUSE THOSE GUYS HAD ACTUAL EXPERIENCE IN EDUCATION." Granted...they SUCKED, and just put Dubya's policies on steroids. But, AT LEAST they had a background in education.
Why is it OKAY for a nominee that will have direct influence over policy for MILLIONS of children, to NOT BE PROPERLY VETTED? They are protecting her from looking even more incompetent than she already does. THAT MUCH is obvious. When the moronic GOP comes to her aid, saying the Dems "ganged up on her" with "gotcha questions," which in and of itself was hilarious, as "I" would have had no problems answering every one of those questions. Those were NOT questions designed to catch her off-guard.
I don't get it. REPUBLICANS...help me out here. DEFEND THIS...
