4chan and Trump

I came across this essay over the weekend and thought it was pretty interesting. I know our net-savvy corner of the universe is pretty well versed on some of this, but I thought some of you might enjoy it. It's fairly long and loses some of it's steam towards the end, but it's an interesting insight into the 4chan mindset with regards to Trump when set into the context of the last 10 years or so.

That bit is such an interesting rationalization of idiocy. I'm not sure there is anything worse than an aggrieved millennial, and I say that as an aggrieved millennial.

That's really nice and all but the original statement is still just an empty rationalization. The political world has never been more open or accessible. Business opportunities are abundant. Socializing with people who share your interests is easy, thanks to the internet. Having a say in the rules that govern your life only requires that you participate a bit. What you have posted is the manifesto of a jaded, cynical loser, and that's all there is to it.
