It's pretty odious, but a lot of the key Obamacare tenets remain. With the subsidies being toasted, premiums are sure to shoot up nicely, especially for the old and sick. Sounds like they've set the worst parts of this to go into effect in 2020...so the next administration will take the heat, but a couple of midterm elections cycles should be insulated from the voter fallout.

problems there include multiple levels of hospitals. of course, we already have that, kind of.
what we need to fix is people abusing ER for everything because they can't afford the doctor. typical day-to-day medical needs at this point make sense to be handled by government hospitals with a small fee (like $20 dollars, this is to discourage abuse) and a waiting line. of course what is "typical day to day"... i don't see why i should pay for someone's cancer treatment. that's what insurance is for. if you're too poor for it, well, you didn't prepare for your own body killing you: not my problem. if you broke your arm or something, that's an accident that kind of small stuff happens. if you need to have a kidney transplant because of some chronic condition? you really should start asking for donations
