You're blinded by dislike. Trump is a blunt instrument but it worked here. China is enforcing sanctions to get on his good side which has crippled NK.

That said I dont think they give up nukes. But we should not fall victim to GOP mentality and fail to give credit where due. Trump may not have intended these promising steps but he did cause them.

A major thawing in relations, including a direct line between NK and SK leadership for deescalation. This is momentous by itself.

I dont expect north Korea to give up nukes but it's irrational IMO to not give donald credit here.
