Many people doubt Trump's unconventional approach to politics, but his approach has brought in win after win. He is into the second year of his presidency and has accomplished more than any other president in their lifetimes, including Washington. Some are shaking about the trade war, but could it prove to be yet another win?
1. During the primaries many saw him as a joke and did not think he could beat someone like Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio. But his straight talk brought him all the way to the top the Republicans had no choice but to nominate him as their candidate.
2. During the election they thought that Hillary would be a sure win. But his promise to drain the swamp won him the election.
3. After he was elected, the stock price dropped because the Democrats scared the public into thinking that the economy would fall under Trump. But he passed quick tax cuts that resulted in 8 years economic growth.
4. His tax cut also resulted in 8 years of continuous drop in unemployment and is now at the lowest in history.
5. Unemployment drop doesn't only benefit white America. Black unemployment has also experienced 8 years of continuous drop and is at the lowest under Trump.
6. The Trump tax cut made corporations more competitive and it primarily benefit minorities
7. A lot of socialists complain about the tax cut, but Trump has a plan to balance the budget and create well paying American jobs that put retirees back in the work force.
8. Trump cares about American jobs. While Hillary was on the campaign trail bragging about coal workers losing their jobs, Trump brought those jobs back. Now a coal worker would sleep in peace knowing that those jobs are not going away and that their sons and grandsons can carry on the proud family tradition.
9. Two years into Obama's presidency, the American auto industry was in shambles and had to be bailed out. But two years into Trump's presidency, the auto industry is booming thanks to the roll back in regulation that generated 7 years of sales growth.
10. On immigration, some said that he had to follow Obama's policy of separating families. However, because of Trump "zero tolerance policy" against separating families, he quickly signed an executive order to end family separation.
11. On North Korea, Democrats were hoping that the Trump-Kim deal would not go through. But after some very tough stances, Kim agreed to a meeting and committed to complete denuclearization. South Korea said Trump was instrumental in the peace talk and that Trump deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.
12. Obama treated our WWII ally with hostility and our WWII enemies with open arms. Trump treated or allies with open arms and enemies with hostility.
13. Obama was ashamed of the US military. Trump will proudly hold a parade for them. Many military personnel and veterans expressed their gratefulness since Trump was the first president willing to do something like that for them.
14. Obama did not want veterans to show their faces in the street. Veterans on the street decreased by 56% under Obama and they didn't start to show back up until Trump was in office.
15. Trump improved America's image abroad. America is now respected again.
The Trade War is still heating up, similar to the escalation over North Korea. But just like North Korea and many others, will it become another victory for Trump?
