Kinda I guess?
How much money is in Russia? How much is in the EU? Maybe Germany and France should shove a bunch of their money in US campaigns now too? China's the concerning party here - they have the will and the means to drown it all in cash.

Financing mudslinging ads is all that amounts to. Pretty shallow stuff there. To bad it all don't backfire, and no one votes for anyone for anything.

the information isn't automatically reported to the IRS anymore. this is because of backlash during the Obama presidency, which Obama himself said was a bad thing. the reason it was bad is that the IRS made that information public, which it wasn't supposed to.
the information is still readily available for the IRS if any of those people are audited. the organizations need to give the IRS information on specific individuals if they ask for it. the difference now is they don't just hand over the information in the first place, for the IRS to improperly handle as they have demonstrated in the past
the thing is this information was NEVER supposed to be public before. the only thing that is changed is automatic reporting. if the IRS needs to audit someone the tax-exempt groups still need to provide all their records
i really don't understand 1. what your problem is with this and 2. how this means a "coup is happening"

You also have a slow rolling move to oust/relocate political appointees across all parts of the government that aren't Trump loyalists.

Information relating to political contributions shouldn't be private. Ever.
