She is right of course but does not go far enough. Her point seems to be letting in a million culturally backward people gives a talking point to the right. Her point should be that letting in a million culturally backward people is dumb af.

One of the true silver linings of Trump’s victory has been the entertainment value of seeing Dylan go from a typical “We must stop Drumpf!” lib to a “if you can’t beat em, join em” bigot.

His is an odd comment, since the last few years have made it very apparent that the culturally backwards people in America were almost certainly born there, from families who have a long history in country.

I don't know about you, but I'd take a young man from Egypt over a phosphide or the other one. Sure, you're gonna get some traditional beliefs, but at least they'll work hard, probably be better educated, and contribute more to society.
