When Obama visited Mt Rushmore it was "majestic" but when Trump goes its a sign of racism.

The tweet linked to a 2008 transcript of a CNN broadcast where it reported: "Barack Obama is in South Dakota today. He arrived there last night. Take a look at this. He got a good glimpse of the majestic Mount Rushmore."

And later in the transcript about the then-candidate's visit: "Obama arrived there late last night and got a good look around Mt. Rushmore – it's quite a sight if you haven't seen it."

Things were different 12 years ago? Has there perhaps been something that may have altered people's perspective on racial politics during that time?

I should point out that while I don't think your point is coherent, DWBH, I do realize that CNN is really no better than any tabloid outlet. Fox, CNN, MSNBC, all of these cable networks are trash, and they've been trash for years. It is a serious problem because there are somehow still people whose primary source of information is cable news.
