Every 4 years millions of Americans are asked to participate in a process that is extremely flawed, outdated, ridiculous, and in many ways beneath what you would expect from a 21st century democracy. The fate of the Republic, once considered the most powerful country on Earth, is decided by a small number of states known for their intellectual prowess, like Florida and Ohio. If the last 3.5 years have taught you anything, it's that the Presidency matters.

blue across the board. the GOP will not only not be getting my vote but I will actively vote against it by whatever party has the highest chance of defeating the GOP until they repudiate Trump and every single senator who voted for acquittal. so basically Romney can stay but no one else. then i'd consider voting (or not voting at all) for a party other than Democrat

I usually vote for the person rather than the party but there are nothing but scum running on the Republican side in our state this go round. I hope, hope, Gianforte (same guy who was elected to congress after assaulting a reporter) does not win the governor's race, it would be an unmitigated disaster with him in charge of our republican controlled house and senate. I have hopes for Bullock (2 term gov) now running against Steve Daines (Gianforte's little sidekick) for senate but it will be close. I have no idea what will happen in the representatives race but probably will go to the Rep, just because. I hope the census counting suppression bears fruit so maybe we can get 2 representatives again as the western part of the state always went D and the eastern part always went R before they took one of our seats away.

Biden, because he's not trump, and because it is the patriotic duty of every red-blooded American with even the faintest conception of our core principals and values to oppose this national humiliation. He got in against the will of the people last time, he can't be allowed to remain on another technicality this time around. Ginsburg won't last much longer.

Oh, and I'm not supporting any GOP candidates locally unless they go on the record condemning trump. We've had some decent moderate republicans here who are somewhat acceptable in certain roles. But if they can't summon the decency to distance themselves from trump, they're out.
